MUNDUK COUNTRYSIDE NATURE WALKS
Escape the crowds of south Bali and refresh your mind for a little while in the village up north of Bali called Munduk village. We offer for travelers who want to try something different for their trip instead of lying on the beach to enjoying the sunshine and a couple of bottle of beers.
Munduk village is a village located in the north of Bali, in the mountain 800 meters above sea level, where the climate is milder. There are a very diverse fauna and flora, due to the fertile environment. Based on history, Munduk village has been visited by the foreigner since the Dutch colonial period. It can see from the many old buildings which use Dutch architecture. At that time, Munduk village was the biggest producer of Arabica and Robusta coffee in Bali which is exported to America and Europe.
This trekking package may a good choice for those who want to enjoy the fresh mountain air and walking around the village passing by the tropical plantations, rice fields and Munduk waterfall, the highest waterfall in Bali. The plantations that we will pass such as; coffee, cocoa, clove, vanilla and herbal plants which is still used by local people to make traditional medicine. When we pass through the rice field, sometimes we will see the farmer plowing the rice field or planting the rice or harvesting the rice. It depends on the period.
After the trek, the lunch will be served in one local restaurant with a stunning view of the valley and mountain.
On the way back, we have an opportunity to visit Munduk waterfall, see the view of twin lakes ( Buyan and Tamblingan lakes ) from the hill road of Wanagiri, monkey feeding in Pucak and Ulun Danu temple in Bedugul.
